Our high-quality Japanese Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha Green Tea Powder is made from 100% finely ground green tea leaves. Traditionally used in Japanese tea ceremonies, matcha is grown in the shade before harvesting, helping to develop its vibrant green colour and distinctive flavour.
Unlike conventional green tea, matcha is consumed as a whole leaf in powdered form, meaning you enjoy the natural goodness of the tea rather than steeping the leaves and discarding them. Matcha also naturally contains caffeine, making it a popular alternative to coffee and other caffeinated drinks.

Suggested Uses
For a traditional matcha drink, whisk around 1g of matcha with hot water to your preferred strength. For best results, use water at approximately 80°C rather than boiling water. A bamboo whisk, electric frother or milk frother can be used to create a smooth, creamy texture.
For a delicious matcha latte, combine with hot water and your favourite plant-based milk. Our vegan coconut milk powder can also be used to create a rich and creamy matcha latte.
Matcha is also excellent in smoothies, protein shakes, yoghurt, porridge, baking and desserts.
