The RFS60 Guarantee – 60 Days of No-Quibble Confidence

At RealFoodSource, we believe real food speaks for itself—honest, high-quality, and great value. We're so confident in what we pack and deliver that we back every order with our RFS60 Guarantee: a 60-day, no-quibble return policy that's as fair as it is friendly.

Here's how it works:

You’ve got 60 days from delivery to request a return—no ifs, buts, or "best before" worries.

Changed your mind? Not a problem. We just ask that you only buy what you plan to use, not store for months.

Unhappy with the quality or find better value? We're happy to sort it—just follow the steps below.

Return Guidelines (the simple version!):

🛍️ Keep it in the bag, tub or jar! Please don’t decant—testing straight from the pack or original container helps us help you. If not in our packaging, we can't confirm it is our product.

🧾 Print a label: You’ll need to print the return label we send you, so please ensure printer access before ordering.

📦 Send it back within 7 working days of receiving the label (it will expire after that).

🧳 One label covers up to 30kg. For returns over 30kg, customers cover the extra cost.

Open Product Returns:

✅ You can open 1 bag of each product—we'll refund that one if needed. 

✅ Found a fault? Assume the rest are the same and send them back sealed.

✅ We’ll cover up to 3 opened (different) products per order under the RFS60 Guarantee.

✅ For anything above that, standard refund terms apply (spoilage/damage/significantly not as described).

A note on nibblers:

🥜 If you've only had a taste (a nut or two!), we’ll refund in full. If you've gone halfway through, we’ll refund for what’s returned. Fair’s fair, right?

Regional Info:

📦 Mainland UK: Full RFS60 Guarantee + free returns up to 30kg.

🌍 Northern Ireland & remote/offshore: Still covered, but return postage is on you.

What NOT to Do:

Don't decant or mix products: Keep them in original packaging to ensure eligibility.

Don't discard original packaging: We can only verify issues with products in our own packaging.

Don't request refunds after 60 days: This gives ample time to test and ideally consume the products. Long-term storage can affect quality, and we cannot verify storage conditions beyond this timeframe.

Decanting, mixing, incorporating into recipes, or storing the product for 60 days or longer indicates acceptance and verification of product quality. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds in these cases, as we cannot verify if issues arose before delivery or from subsequent handling, mixing, or home storage.

A Firm but Friendly Reminder:

😊 Just to be clear—yes, you must return the products to receive a refund. By not returning, you're accepting the items as satisfactory. We're passionate about real food at great value, not giving away freebies or supporting online fraud (a growing problem, unfortunately!).

Returns allow us to investigate any issues properly, raise them with our suppliers to improve quality, and in many cases, donate suitable returned products to animal charities—so little to nothing goes to waste.

Like any online retailer—whether you're buying an iPhone, a designer handbag, or a bag of delicious nuts—returns are essential for refunds. You wouldn’t expect a refund from your local supermarket without returning the product, would you? 😉 Thank you for understanding and helping keep our prices low, and online shopping fair and fun for everyone!

Before You Return:

We kindly ask—pause for a moment and consider:

  • Was it truly below our high RealFoodSource standards?

  • Could it be a natural characteristic occasionally found in real foods, such as a slightly bitter almond or a unique texture, that doesn't compromise usability or enjoyment?

  • Or was it just not your personal taste?

We taste-test, visually inspect, and only sell what meets our strict quality checks. Sending food back costs the planet, affects prices, and contributes to waste—even when we repurpose returned goods for animal use.

Keeping It Fair:

We reserve the right to revoke the RFS60 Guarantee if it's being repeatedly misused (e.g. excessive returns with no clear quality issue or multiple unused labels requested, or attempts to misuse the policy for personal gain, such as seeking refunds while keeping products (sadly, this behaviour has been increasing for all online companies). No Return, No Refund—Simple! If you're unable to return products, please do not order from us.
