Our delicious organic freeze dried cherry pieces are a great substitute to fresh cherries and are an excellent source of vitamins A and C. These cherry pieces have nothing added and are just 100% cherry. Freeze drying removes the water from the fruit and 600g of fresh cherries are used to produce 100g of freeze dried cherry pieces. They taste just like the original fruit and can be eaten as they are or water can be added to rehydrate. Our freeze dried cherries are tart cherries. This type of cherry differs from the normal Sweet cherry in a couple of important ways. One of which is that the consumption of tart has been linked to increased melatonin levels, which in turn may lead to better sleep. On top of this the eating tart cherries has also been linked to reduced muscle pain and a better function immune system. These three potential health benefits make our freeze dried tart cherries an ideal addition to any post workout shake. Nothing added, just 100% organic cherry pieces! 

**To help stop freeze dried fruits softening, temperatures should not exceed 20º C and 65% relative humidity. As these conditions can vary depending on the season, the weather conditions and location of your delivery, the freeze dried fruits can, on occasion, become soft. As these are factors that are out of our control, please note we cannot accept returns for freeze-dried products if they have gone soft. Once the product is in your possession, we would advise resealing the bag quickly after opening or if you decant it into a container ensure it is airtight and completely dry as any exposure to air or moisture will result in the product becoming soft.**
