Our organic dried tart unsweetened cherries are chewy in texture with a sharp tartness and a subtle sweet aftertaste. Cherries are a good source of antioxidants, vitamin C and potassium.
Preservative and sulphite free these are the most natural organic dried cherries we could source and are an excellent addition to our growing berry range.
Cherries have become a favourite with sports professionals too (cherries are claimed to aid muscle relief amongst many other benefits).
Suggested uses:
Our organic cherries are an excellent product to bake with, lovely in cakes and muffins but we also like to snack on them straight from the bag, mixing them with our nuts and coconut sugar chocolate drops is a favourite mix for our kids. Cherries make a great sweet addition to salads – try pairing them with asparagus and shallots or pecans, arugula and thinly sliced parmesan. Another classic combination is roasted pork and cherries – add them to the pork stuffings, homemade cherry preserve or simply sprinkle a few on before serving.
