Our delicious buckwheat is a fabulous grain that is similar to pasta or rice. Buckwheat is a fruit seed related to rhubarb and sorrel making it an excellent staple in gluten and wheat free diets. Buckwheat is a great source of protein, iron and magnesium while being low in fat.
Instructions:
Buckwheat is great added on top of salads, in soups and casseroles to give texture of even as an alternative to porridge oats. Just simmer on top of the hob for 15-20 minutes until all the water is absorbed.
