The global whey protein market is experiencing an unprecedented supply crisis. UK whey protein prices have risen significantly, driven by global supply constraints and surging worldwide demand. The issue is not limited to a single supplier or country — major producers across Europe, North America and Oceania are all drawing from the same increasingly constrained pool of raw material. Over the past two years, whey protein concentrate costs have more than doubled, with isolate prices rising even further.
